Commitment, Discipline, Consistency & Results


Many of us have been there...we start working out with the best intentions of getting results, but we can’t seem to get to the gym enough or life just gets in the way. Think about it like this: if you consistently eat potato chips while sitting stagnant all day, you will gain body fat. The point here is that consistency works both ways and what you do most of the time matters most. As I was saying, it starts with a commitment. A decision that you are going to get to the gym “x” times per week, even if life throws you a curveball and you have to adjust. This adjustment is where discipline comes in. You will have times where you just have to figure out how to get to the gym but, hey, aren’t your goals worth it!?!? Next, figure out a workout you enjoy and get started. After you gain some consistency getting your workouts in, make a plan to start eating better. Once your exercise and diet are consistent, add a few key supplements to your diet to maximize the effectiveness of your workouts.
